Dr. Sara G. Gilman, Psy.D., L.M.F.T. 

Dr. Gilman, is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, with a doctorate degree in Psychology. She is the co-founder of Coherence Associates, a professional counseling corporation in San Diego, CA. The Coherence Associates team of professional counselors are dedicated to expanding human potential through the coherence of mind, body & spirit through clinical excellence, integrity, & compassion. Dr. Gilman is certified in EMDR Therapy, Disaster Mental Health, Psychological First Aid, HeartMath and was awarded Fellowship status with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress for her work with emergency responders. Dr. Gilman is past President of the EMDR International Association Board of Directors. For over 30 years, she has specialized in the areas of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Grief and Loss, Addictions and helping people improve and maintain their Mental Health & Resilience through life's challenges.

David Cummings 

Professor of Biology

Point Loma Nazarene University 

Dave Cummings is a Professor of Biology at Point Loma Nazarene University and the author of Everybody's Got Bears: Bravely Facing Down Stress, Anxiety, and Depression to Find an Abundant Life in Christ. He is an elder at Pathways Community Church in Santee, where he lives with his wife Ann and their three children.

Dave says, "I want to share my journey of falling ill and getting a mental illness diagnosis." Let's call it "The last thing I expected."

Christine Frey 
Mental Health Advocate
Brain XP 

Christine Marie Frey (referred to as Christine XP) is an extraordinary rising teen mental health advocate. At the age of 12, she began experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and psychosis. She was later diagnosed with bipolar disorder. At the age of 16, Christine XP wrote and self-published her autobiography "Brain XP: Living with Mental Illness, A Young Teenager's Perspective", which has since become an international award-winning book.

Christine XP, now 19 years old, has founded her own mental health brand called Operation Christine XP (www.christinexp.com) and has started several mental health advocacy projects for youth including the Brain XP Project, the Bipolaroid Booth, and the Mental Misfits. Christine XP is an award-winning mental health advocate, an engaging motivational speaker, and a musical recording artist & performer. She represents the youth voice on many statewide and national councils, and she has also partnered with National Discovery Behavioral Health to further her advocacy work in helping young people overcome their mental health challenges.
